Cancellation Policy
A scheduled appointment means that time is reserved for you. I believe that progress in therapy is dependent upon your commitment to this process. Cancelled or rescheduled sessions with less than 24-hour’s notice will result in a charge for the full session fee. Please note that I will provide a 10-minute grace period following the scheduled start time of the session, after which I reserve the right to consider the session missed and you will be responsible for the full session fee.
The standard meeting time for psychotherapy is 50 minutes. If you request a longer session time, pro-rated charges will apply. Should you decide to leave your session early, you will still be responsible for the full 50-minute fee.
Please note that in the event a session is extended due to safety concerns, I reserve the right to bill for additional session time, at a prorated rate.
Please be aware that not attending session due to internet connection issues may result in a no-show or late cancellation fee. If internet issues do arise, please reach out to me via text, email or phone and we can create an alternate plan.
Because I am licensed only in the state of California, the law requires that you are physically located in California at the time of our session. Should you need to be out of the state, please let me know and we can reschedule for a time when you will be back in California.
